Count Your Blessings: How has Cornea Associates of Texas Blessed You? By Cornea Associates of Texas on November 23, 2022

What is the importance of counting your blessings?

While we try to remember to count our blessings frequently in our personal and professional lives, we often get caught up in the day-to-day challenges and victories at work and forget to express gratitude for our everyday blessings. This Thanksgiving, the team at Cornea Associates of Texas committed to making an effort to express our thanks for the many wonderful aspects of our work lives. We hope you have the opportunity to pause, reflect, and share your gratitidue with family, friends, and coworkers as well this holiday season.

Recently, Cornea Associates of Texas was recognized as one of the Top 100 Places to Work in the Metroplex by the Dallas Morning News for an amazing 10th consecutive year. We owe this honor to the dedication of our team, with whom we feel blessed to work on a daily basis. To celebrate the season and this honor, we asked our staff “How has Cornea Associates of Texas blessed you?"

We want to share with you some of our staff’s blessings this Thanksgiving season:

“CAT blesses me by being a place where I can care for people on a team that is excellent and passionate.”  - Dr. Potts, Physician

“CAT has blessed me with a job to maintain my livelihood, but also provided me with fun events, prizes, yummy food, LASIK, and a great team I can depend on.” - Megan, Fort Worth Patient Coordinator

“I am so thankful for a work family who always pushes me daily at both work and in nursing school to better myself in every aspect!! They also work with my crazy schedule while in school.”   - Maycie, Technician

“I am blessed to call the CAT Team my second family! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to come to work every day to this amazing practice who truly cares about their Team!”  - Karie, Refractive Dept. Team Lead

“I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful group of professionals! The leadership has done an excellent job of keeping everyone informed with consistent communication and enjoyable activities. Even the quarterly meetings are delightful. The leadership and group of physicians are extra, extra, extraordinary. I have compared this practice to others I’ve worked at, and this is by far the BEST!  - Treva, Technician

“I am thankful we can help such a variety of patients with unique cases. To be able to address and resolve these ocular situations is awesome to be a part of. Cornea Associates has given me the confidence to keep growing as an individual, and I am so blessed to have both the trust and the resources to learn more.” - Kassy, Technician

“When I reflect on my career at Cornea there is a recurrent theme in every milestone—SUPPORT! I am blessed to have such a supportive staff on my side. For example, I was able to finish school while Cornea worked around my schedule. I was able to fly the friendly skies and still work in clinic, and most recently, I received and continue to receive so much support from team members while adjusting into my new role. I am thankful to work around so many people that care about my success. - Yazmin, Surgery Coordinator

We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We hope you will take the time to count your blessings this Thanksgiving and share them with the ones you love!
