Dr. Alexander joined Cornea Associates of Texas after completing her fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute at the University of Colorado Denver. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is available by appointment at our Dallas and Fort Worth locations.
Dr. Alexander grew up primarily in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended the University of Southern California, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and subsequently received her ophthalmology training from the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. She specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the cornea and anterior segment including LASIK, cataract surgery, cornea transplants, DSAEK, DMEK and other anterior segment procedures.
Dr. Alexander is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Cornea Society, Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She is available by appointment at our Dallas and Fort Worth locations.
In her free time, Dr. Alexander enjoys camping, hiking, listening to live music and taking her dog on adventures with her fiance.
