Cornea Associates of Texas latest update on COVID-19.  Coronavirus and Ophthalmic Care

Flattening the curve while providing essential care,  Cornea Associates of Texas offices will remain open for urgent/emergent care throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Cornea Associates of Texas has been designated an essential business under the Amended Stay Home Stay Safe Order issued by County Judge Clay Jenkins on March 22, 2020.  Cornea Associates of Texas is an essential healthcare provider as defined under Section 2 of the order.

To support our community during this National Emergency/Global Pandemic, we are maintaining limited operations to meet the essential needs of our patients and our referral sources.

At this time, Cornea Associates of Texas will have the following standard office hours:

We are available for the New and Existing patients, with Urgent/Emergent needs.  We have attached a list of diagnoses that would typically be considered Urgent/Emergent. If you feel you personally have an urgent eye care need or you are a physician with a patient whose diagnosis not listed, please feel free to call our office and we will determine if the situation represents an Urgent/Emergent need.

Outside of the hours listed above, please call our main office at 214-692-0146 and follow the prompts to reach our after-hour team.

We are taking precautionary measures to protect our staff and our patients.  All patients will be screened for travel history and symptoms prior to scheduling their appointments.  All patients will also be screened on-site for travel history, symptoms, and fever.

Our physicians and team at Cornea Associates of Texas are here to help you however we can. Working together we will get patients in our community the eye care they need throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic.  We are working hard to do our part to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 Pandemic, while addressing the most critical vision care needs.
