Dr. Brad Bowman Celebrates 25 years at Cornea Associates of Texas

It is hard for me to believe I am celebrating my 25th anniversary at Cornea Associates of Texas.  When Dr. Gelender and Dr. Beebe offered me a position at Cornea Associates, I felt so blessed and honored to join one of the most respected practices in the city with such great colleagues.  Drs. McCall, Nettune, Zaffos, Alexander and most recently Dr. Potts have only added to the growing reputation of Cornea Associates of Texas in providing the highest quality eye care.

I love my job!  I actually look forward to coming to work each day and working along side our great staff to care for our patients.  I cannot imagine a more rewarding field of medicine than Ophthalmology.  My patients often tell me nothing is more importan to them than their vision.  With amazing advances in our technology, we now have the ability to restore vision in ways we never thought possible when I began my practice 25 years ago. 

My oldest son, Andrew, recently began his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Florida.  While many physicians are directing their children away from medicine, I told my son I could not imagine any career more rewarding than helping restore vision to those who cannot see.  I pray Andrew will find the same joy and satisfaction I have found as an ophthalmologist. I am thankful God  led me to ophthalmology and Cornea Associates of Texas.
