My name is Tyrone McCall. I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I went to undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma and continued medical school there. I did my residency in ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After that, I did a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at Sinskey Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California. I am a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, The Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Texas Ophthalmological Association. At Cornea Associates of Texas in Dallas, I am a fellowship trained cornea surgeon that specializes in cornea and external disease, refractive surgery, and general care of the anterior portion of the eye. What I love about my job, as an ophthalmologist is what we do makes people happy. What we do makes me happy. A lot of patients who come in they have serious problems, problems that can affect every component of their life and can really make things difficult and through medicine or surgery we can do things that can completely change their life, bring them back to where they want to be and that is very gratifying.
